Role Summary

During your working student position, you will gain an insight into the development and experimental work at Bosch Sensortec. You will get to know the internal processes and methods and can then put them into practice independently.

You support us in the development activities for micromechanical sensors in consumer electronics, e.g. for smartphones and wearables.

In addition, you will be involved in the characterization of sensors and will be involved in the planning and execution of experiments.

The preparation, start and support of measurements for characterization as well as the testing of new sensors are part of your area of responsibility.

Last but not least, you will help the test assistant in the laboratory with various daily tasks.

Requirements

Education: Studies in the field of natural sciences, technology or comparable

Experience and know-how

  • Basic knowledge of measurement technology and electronics
  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
  • ideally initial practical experience in laboratory work

Personality and way of working: you are good at completing tasks carefully and reliably meeting deadlines; you work conscientiously and can quickly understand and implement new information

  • Day-to-day work: your presence on site is required, working hours are early shifts, daily (Mon-Fri) 6 a.m.-9 a.m., less possible by arrangement
  • Enthusiasm: Enjoyment of quickly grasping and applying new facts
  • Languages: business fluent German and very good English
