Role Summary

Independent advice on data protection issues in day-to-day business as well as on strategic and project-related topics, especially at the interfaces to IT and e-commerce

• Legal support in the development and implementation of e-commerce projects, IT systems, business processes and contracts at national and international levels
• Advice on general legal issues relating to e-commerce
• Data protection legal support in complex national and international transactions and restructurings
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from various departments as well as external law firms
• Direct collaboration and regular exchange with the management of the legal department

Requirements

• Successfully completed law studies with two state examinations; ideally with at least one exam with a grade of “fully satisfactory”
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, e.g. B. in an internationally active law firm or an internationally operating company
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong affinity for technology and interest in quickly familiarizing yourself with new digital and legal topics
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and prepare them in an understandable way

Ability to work in a team, flexibility and initiative as well as enjoyment of working together with different stakeholders in a dynamic and international environment
