Role Summary

In the dual business studies course (m/f/d) you combine business know-how with practical experience in the company. You will be part of the team right from the start and will get to know central commercial processes. The aim of the position is to prepare you comprehensively for a career in a business environment and to offer you a solid basis for your professional development.

1st training phase (1st-3rd semester)

• Shortened vocational training to become an industrial clerk (m/f/d)
• Lectures two days a week at the Münster University of Applied Sciences
• One day per week of vocational school at the Hansa Vocational College in Münster
• Practical assignments in the commercial departments
• Degree: Industrial clerk (m/f/d)

2nd training phase (4th-6th semester)

• Lectures two days a week at the Münster University of Applied Sciences
• Deepening the theoretical content in elective areas
• Corporate project work
• Degree: Diploma examination for business administration VWA (m/f/d)

3rd training phase (7th semester)

• Lectures one day per week at the Münster University of Applied Sciences
• Preparation of the bachelor's thesis
• Responsible tasks within the company
• Degree: Bachelor of Arts

Responsibilities

• Get to know and actively participate in commercial areas such as financial accounting, purchasing, controlling, marketing and people & culture
• Support with daily business processes and taking on initial tasks independently
• Combining theory and practice by applying your study knowledge in everyday work
• Participation in projects and insights into operational processes

Requirements

• Successful completion of the Abitur or technical high school diploma (grade average < 2.5)
• Good performance in mathematics, German and English
• Interest in business relationships and economic processes
• High willingness to learn and motivation to combine theory and practice
• Structured, independent and reliable way of working
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Initial practical experience in the commercial sector is an advantage
