Role Summary

As part of your doctorate, you will be responsible for developing test content for the characterization of inertial MEMS at the wafer level. Your work includes the design and characterization of inertial MEMS test chips in terms of stiction and robustness. You will also develop innovative techniques and ideas that can then be transferred into real products.

Requirements

  • Education: You have a master's degree with very good grades in physics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, software engineering or a comparable field.
  • Experience: You have experience with FPGA systems and tools, a background in analog electronics as well as experience in circuit design and simulation (e.g. Ansys, Comsol or similar).
  • Knowledge: You have a good understanding of electrical measurement techniques, programming skills (required: C, Python, Matlab) and knowledge of semiconductors and MEMS.
  • Personality: You are team-oriented, enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and are characterized by a self-organized way of working.
  • Languages: You have good communication skills in English and German (at least B2).
