Role Summary

What activities await you

As part of a team of experts, you support the users on site at our customer. Your specific understanding of DMU processes, data management and digital vehicle or product security ensures the smooth work and success of our customers.

DMU integration & data management: You are responsible for the integration, preparation and structuring of 3D data in the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) environment. You ensure the consistency and quality of assemblies and product structures (digital twin) and manage configurations in the PLM/3DX system.

Design support & analysis: You support the design teams directly on site (“elbow support”), accompany the visualization and validation of design data and specifically track down collision or integration problems (clash analysis) in order to solve them.

Process & Performance Monitoring: You will help define and optimize DMU workflows, create KPIs and activity tracking dashboards, and implement best practices for data quality.

Collaboration & coordination: In close collaboration with multifunctional teams (design, engineering and stakeholders), you coordinate work packages and priorities and actively participate in PI planning and coordination meetings.

Reporting: You monitor integration progress, identify risks or blockages in a timely manner and regularly report on the status of DMU activities.

Requirements

Who we are looking for

You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, construction technology or a comparable engineering science.

Your experience: You have in-depth professional experience in the area of DMU / virtual product integration and understand complex engineering design processes. Experience in the aerospace sector (ideally in an Airbus context) is a strong plus; Initial experience in project coordination is an advantage.

  • Your Hard Skills: * In-depth knowledge of DMU tools, methodologies and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Confident use of CAD tools (CATIA V5 / 3DX) as well as in-depth knowledge of product structures and PLM.
  • Experience in collision analysis and integration validation.
  • Your soft skills: You impress with your strong communication skills, an analytical mindset and a structured, independent way of working. You are service-oriented, a team player and thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Your languages: You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • We not only work for our customers, but above all with our customers. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach and service orientation are just as important to us as technical expertise. Accordingly, we expect German language skills at at least B2 level and a good knowledge of English.
