Eurofins WEJ Contaminants GmbH at the Hamburg-Harburg location is looking for a full-time CTA or chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) for the processing of food samples in the area of organic contaminants GC-MS as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

These are your tasks

Timely sample processing for organic contaminants (including PAHs, MCPD esters and mineral oil hydrocarbons) in food and feed samples using, among other things, shaking extraction, ultrasonic extraction or column clean-up up to the extract that is ready for measurement

• Timely preparation of required solutions/chemicals
• Work in accordance with quality assurance measures
• Compliance with all relevant management instructions
• Participation in the design/optimization of work processes

Requirements

This is what you bring with you

• Successfully completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician/CTA (m/f/d) or Bachelor of Chemistry (m/f/d) or comparable training
• First professional experience in an analytical laboratory is an advantage
• Good knowledge of German and English is desirable
• Good teamwork skills
• Very careful, quick and independent way of working
• Resilience and flexibility
• Strong service and quality mindset

Willingness to work within service hours and rosters between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. as well as occasional Saturday work (working time frame 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
