Responsibilities

Your tasks in our laboratory include

• Analysis of food and feed using classic methods (e.g. PCR)
• Sample preparation: weighing, dilution, homogenization and pipetting according to test procedures
• Sample processing and analysis
• Evaluation of samples according to DIN EN ISO 17025 and carrying out further determination steps
• Documentation of the results in the laboratory information system (LIMS) and communication with other departments (e.g. customer service)
• Participation in the laboratory routine: preparation and follow-up of the workstations, ensuring hygienic requirements and general laboratory activities
• Participation in development projects and method establishment

The position is to be filled full-time.

Requirements

• You have completed vocational training as a biology laboratory technician, BTA (m/f/d), MTA (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You must speak German fluently (at least a good B2 level)
• Ideally, you have initial professional experience in dealing with molecular biological samples in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17025
• You have good IT skills and ideally have already worked with a LIMS system
• You are characterized by a high level of responsibility, initiative and commitment
• You are a team player and have strong social skills
• You have good organizational skills
