Role Summary

Northern Sweden is in the midst of a historic industrial transition. New factories are emerging, technical solutions are being developed and sustainable investments are shaping the society of the future. At Ramboll, we are an active part of that development - now we are looking for more people who want to join the journey!

As a planning manager at Ramboll, you will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate planning in some of Sweden's most exciting and technology-intensive projects - from large industrial investments to complex infrastructure facilities.

Your role with us

As our new design manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the design work from early stages to finished construction documents, and ensuring that technical solutions meet both the customer's requirements and the project's goals.

You will belong to our unit, Industry & Infrastructure Facilities North, where we work with some of Sweden's most exciting and complex projects for customers in heavy industry, infrastructure, energy and water. Here, experienced experts in several technical fields work together to create sustainable, efficient and future-proof facilities. Industry & Infrastructure Facilities is a global service line within Ramboll Buildings, which enables close collaboration across areas of competence and national borders, so that we can mobilize the right expertise for each assignment - regardless of where it is in the organization.

Requirements

Your main responsibilities include

  • Plan, lead and follow up the design work in the various stages of the project
  • Coordinate technical disciplines and ensure that deliveries meet the right quality, time and cost
  • Work closely with project managers, customers, suppliers and contractors to create a smooth design process

Participate in tender work, resource planning and business development to strengthen our position within industry and infrastructure's future projects.

About you

You have several years of experience in leading planning in multidisciplinary projects within industry or infrastructure.

  • You have a good understanding of the industry or infrastructure sector
  • You have experience from the consultant role and enjoy taking on business and technical responsibility
  • You have a civil or university engineering degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. construction, installation, electricity, industry, construction)
  • You are structured, committed and have the ability to drive projects forward

You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish as well as English.

That's why you should choose Ramboll

  • You work in projects that contribute to the industrial and sustainable transition.
  • You gain great trust and the opportunity to influence from the start.
  • You will be part of a company with a long-term perspective and high ambitions.
  • You work closely with colleagues who share knowledge and want to develop together.
  • You get the strength of a global network while working closely with clients and projects locally.
