Role Summary

Automation engineer PLC and SCADA - Join us and build the industry in Norway in a strong professional environment

We are expanding our team within control systems and are now looking for one to two experienced engineers who will help develop the industry of the future.

With us, you will be part of the entire journey, from specification to design, programming, testing, commissioning and support on large and small projects.

Your closest colleagues in Kristiansand consist of 36 driven engineers with an impressive overall experience and track record. We are proud of the spread of experience we have in the office and always do our best to support each other in assignments and development. Examples of projects could be modernizing and streamlining a production process or facility, expanding capacity or building a completely new production line. Delivery is through expert services as well as complete functional or total commitments. The customers can be found in almost all industrial sectors with a particularly strong position in smelters, chemicals, paper and pulp, biorefineries, CCS/CCU and hydrogen.

Requirements

Tasks that challenge and develop

  • Prepare specifications and system architecture in collaboration with customers
  • Develop software for PLC, HMI, SCADA and PCS systems
  • Design, documentation, development and testing of the control system
  • Participate in support and maintenance at large, established facilities
  • Contribute to standardization and further development in the team
  • To be successful with us, we believe that you have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybernetics, Automation or Mechatronics. Technical vocational school or vocational certificate combined with experience can compensate for higher education

  • Minimum 2 years' experience with PLC Programming, preferably Siemens
  • Interest and preferably experience with SCADA/HMI development, preferably AVEVA products, WinCC and PCS7
  • Ability to take responsibility and a drive for own development
  • A positive attitude towards challenges
