Role Summary

You advise ministries, federal and state authorities and other public institutions on key transformation projects relating to processes, organization and the use of automation and AI. In your role, you will actively shape complex decision-making processes at management level and ensure that strategies become implementable solutions.

In this exciting position, you will be responsible for consulting projects and sub-programs in the public sector on process management, automation, AI use and organizational transformation

You structure complex technical issues, develop reliable decision-making bases and prepare them for management levels in a way that is appropriate for the target group

In addition, you manage project teams and central stakeholders on the customer side and ensure progress, quality and goal achievement

As an (associate) manager, you will design and support process optimization initiatives, e.g. B. through data-based analyses, control models and key performance indicator systems

Together with the project teams, you will develop practical approaches to automation and the use of AI and support their introduction and organizational anchoring

Working on transformation projects in the context of process management and organizational development, for example in establishing or further developing standards in public administration, is also part of the role

You will be involved in the further development of customer relationships as well as in offer and acquisition processes

Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our customers and your project situation - you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the customer's site and from home

Requirements

You have successfully completed a university degree, for example in business administration, business informatics, political science, administrative science or a comparable subject

  • At least five years of professional experience in an IT management consultancy with a focus on the public sector is a mandatory requirement
  • You have extensive experience in managing projects or sub-projects as well as working with managers in the public sector
  • You have certifications or in-depth knowledge of relevant methods and frameworks, such as Scrum, PRINCE2, ITIL, COBIT or TOGAF
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-supported methods for analyzing and optimizing business processes is an advantage
  • A confident appearance in a management-related environment is a given for you
  • Good knowledge of German (from B2 level) and knowledge of English round off your profile
