Application Manager (m/w/d) ServiceNow

Together with our partner, the German Alpine Club e.V. (DAV), we are looking for you as an Application Manager (m/f/d) ServiceNow in Munich or remotely for the digital realignment of the organization. With over 1.6 million members, the DAV is the world's largest mountain sports association and a significant player in German nature and environmental protection.

In order to advance the ambitious digitalization initiative, the association is currently modernizing its entire IT landscape. In this dynamic environment, the ServiceNow platform takes on a key role as a central tool for service management and process control.

Tasks

Platform administration: You are responsible for technical operations, monitor system performance and carry out maintenance measures and updates of ServiceNow instances.

Configuration & Development: You independently implement technical requirements by configuring modules and develop or adapt automated workflows.

Project focus data model: You take the lead in implementing the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), maintaining it and building a structured CMDB to transparently map the application and infrastructure landscape.

System integration: You provide technical support in connecting ServiceNow to the existing system landscape and the API platform in close collaboration with the integration architecture.

Troubleshooting: You analyze and permanently resolve complex technical problems within the platform.

Governance & Standards: You ensure platform governance by adhering to best practices and conduct technical reviews of implementations.

Stakeholder management: You manage external implementation partners technically and coordinate closely with the IT architecture and the specialist departments to specify new solutions.

Documentation: You create and maintain the technical platform documentation as well as the corresponding configuration specifications.

Qualification

Qualification: Completed degree in (business) informatics or comparable IT training with relevant professional experience.

ServiceNow Expertise: Experience in administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform or a comparable platform.

Methodological knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) and understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Technical strength: Experience in process automation and ideally knowledge of API-based system integration.

Personality: Analytical thinking, a structured way of working and the ability to translate complex requirements into technical concepts.
