They operate across multiple sectors , helping organizations manage complex projects efficiently . They have an international presence, including operations in Portugal.

As a Project Controls Engineer , you will play a key role in large and complex projects , providing essential insights through data analysis . Working closely with the project manager, you will maintain a holistic view of the project , delivering planning, forecasts, management reports, and analyses covering time scheduling, cost, risk, and scope . Your expertise will be vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget .

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the project manager within the area of project controls .
• Understand the technical aspects of the project and translate them into a comprehensive project plan .
• Take ownership of the planning and control process , performing advanced analyses such as Earned Value, scenario planning, and risk assessments .
• Provide guidance to the project manager and team regarding potential claims .
• Utilize and master project management software tools , including Primavera P6 and MS Project (preferable).

Requirements

• Holds a Master’s degree in Industrial, Civil, or Business Engineering .
• Analytical, independent, and communicative mindset.
• Comfortable bridging technical expertise and management .
• Fluent in English and Portuguese .
• Strong interest and knowledge in IT tools .
