Role Summary

Odoo Developer – 100% Remote | Payment in USD | Full-Time and Long-Term

With a presence in Argentina, the United States, the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama and other countries in the region, they lead innovation through their eight business units: Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain, Distribution, Innovation, Agro, Services and Global.

Currently, they are looking for an Odoo Developer to join the IT Development Management, with the challenge of developing and customizing ERP solutions that drive the implementation of high-impact projects in the region.

Advanced knowledge

Development in Python and the Odoo framework (Open Object).

Customization of standard Odoo modules (versions 15 and 18).

Development of integrations with external services through REST/SOAP APIs.

Advanced use of PostgreSQL and optimization of SQL queries.

Front-end development: Basic experience with JavaScript and the Odoo framework.

Functional knowledge: Intermediate level of standard Odoo modules.

Additional skills: Code optimization, performance analysis and technical documentation.

Soft skills: Teamwork, proactivity, effective communication, flexibility and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and development: Create customized solutions in Odoo (versions 15 to 18), adapted to the different countries and business units where we operate.
• Process optimization: Customize and improve standard Odoo modules, including Sales, Web, POS, CRM, Purchasing, Accounting and Inventories, aligning them with business objectives.
• Integrations: Design and implement integrations with third-party services such as logistics couriers, payment processors, e-commerce platforms (Mercado Libre, Vtex, Magento) and business tools (Salesforce, SAP, among others).
• Quality control: Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code stability.
• Technical Support: Provide advanced support for solving critical issues related to Odoo.
• Collaboration: Work with technology, operations and business teams to ensure high-value deliverables.
• Scalability: Participate in technological expansion projects in new markets, adapting ERP solutions to local contexts.

Requirements

• Education: University degree or advanced studies in Engineering/Degree in Systems, Computer Science or related careers.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar roles, ideally in multicultural projects and technical leadership.

Desirable requirements

• Familiarity with multi-company and multi-currency projects.
• Experience in Odoo version migrations and updating custom modules.
• Certifications in Odoo, PostgreSQL, Python or related tools.
