Role Summary

• You research current news from the Berlin region and prepare it quickly, precisely and in a digitally understandable manner for various channels
• You write news reports based on your own research and edit agency material directly in the content management system
• You edit agency reports in text and images and ensure that they are prepared for the target group
• You formulate attention-grabbing headlines and concise teaser texts for digital news formats
• You create content for public video screens and ensure that regional screens are reliably shown the latest news and announcements

Requirements

• You are completing journalistic training, studying media, communication or a comparable subject or have already gained initial journalistic experience
• You have a keen interest in fast, digital news journalism and regional daily events
• You have a very confident, error-free and precise writing style and have a strong sense of language in order to formulate content in an understandable and target group-appropriate manner
• You work carefully, structuredly and keep an eye on the quality of your results even under time pressure
• You are a team player, flexible and enjoy the dynamic everyday life of a newsroom
