Training process mechanic (m/f/d) glass technology 2026

Role Summary

As a glass technology process mechanic, you are responsible for all areas of glass production from the receipt of raw materials to the packaging of the finished product.

Responsibilities

• The extensive area of responsibility includes
• The raw material acceptance.
• The computer-controlled mixing of the glass raw materials sand, soda, lime and recycled glass into the finished mixture.
• Monitoring the glass melting.
• Convert, set up and operate production machines.
• Starting up and monitoring the machines for producing hollow glass containers.
• Carrying out regular quality controls, including the associated documentation.
• Quality checks on the finished product, e.g. mouth, glass thickness.
