Test Automation Engineer Groningen

Role Summary

As a Test Automation Engineer you ensure that software quality is demonstrable and measurable. You automate test cases based on risk analyzes and work with commercial tools and/or automation frameworks in an IDE. You look beyond just functional tests and also take into account performance, security and other non-functional requirements. With your solutions you integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and actively contribute to the team's quality culture.

Requirements

You have an eye for detail and are always looking for ways to make software smarter and better. You can communicate with customers, see opportunities for improvement and take them up. Sharing knowledge is in your DNA.

In addition you have

• A completed HBO or WO education
• Minimum B2 level of Dutch and good command of English
• At least 2 years of experience in test automation
• Experience with testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Tosca, Cucumber) or performance testing tools
• Experience in agile teams
• Knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages
