Job Overview
Job description
- Location:
- Groningen, GR, Netherlands
- Work arrangement:
- On-site
Role Summary
As a Pega Test Engineer, you ensure that what we build really works well. You look beyond a successful test case. You think about risks, quality and coherence. Where can things go wrong? What are we still missing? And how do we make it better before it goes into production?
You work on Pega applications within complex environments. Together with developers, analysts and architects, you ensure that testing is not a final item, but part of the design from the start.
What we see in you
- Experience as a tester in complex application environments
- Experience with test automation, for example with Tosca, Selenium or Cucumber
- You can switch between different test levels and stakeholders
- You feel comfortable in an Agile environment
- You speak Dutch at a minimum B2 level
Experience with Pega is a plus, but not a strict requirement. If you have mastered the basics of test thinking and have the motivation to delve deeper, we will help you with that.
Responsibilities
In this role you are mainly concerned with
- Determining a smart testing approach within Pega projects
- Designing and executing test scenarios at a functional and technical level
- Setting up and improving test automation where it adds value
You work hybrid from Groningen, combined with customer locations and at home. Within RulesMatter you work in a multidisciplinary team where quality is not an afterthought, but naturally part of how we work.
Requirements
These are your strengths
You have a keen eye for quality and do not settle for “it will be good”. You ask questions, think ahead and dare to contradict yourself if something is not right. You understand how processes work and know where risks can hide.
