Team leader (d/m/f) - accounting editorial team

Role Summary

You lead people. As a professional and disciplinary manager, you create an environment in which your team takes responsibility, develops and is successful together. You promote individual strengths, provide orientation and actively support changes

Together with your team, you will design our content and product portfolio relating to accounting and controlling - from classic specialist information to innovative digital and AI-supported tools and solutions

You identify legal developments as well as market and customer needs at an early stage and, together with your team, translate them into relevant content, new formats and future-proof products

Together with product management, you will strategically develop our offerings and provide impetus for the future of our accounting target group portfolio

You take responsibility for the quality, practical relevance and topicality of our content and also bring your technical expertise in accounting to operational projects and content

You work closely with our tax teams, other specialist editorial teams and other managers and actively shape the further development of our department

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the fields of economics, taxes or law with solid knowledge of accounting
• You have several years of professional experience in an accounting department or in auditing or tax consulting
• You have initial leadership experience in managing a disciplinary team or project teams

With increasing automation and new AI-driven solutions, you maintain an overview and are ready to rethink our content and offerings and develop them into the future

• Initial tax/fin tech experience is an advantage
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working with different disciplines and stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of German completes your profile (C2)

The team of 10 colleagues is responsible for topics and products, from conception to technical implementation for experts in accounting and controlling. We provide future-oriented and practical specialist information, work aids, online seminars and much more. Leading database solutions with AI components, such as CoPilot Finance, are the core of our product portfolio.
