Role Summary

Network Control develops leading systems for network management and control, with solutions for managing planned and unplanned outages, production, transmission and distribution systems, SCADA systems and process control for planning, forecasting and daily operations.
We are now looking for a system engineer with broad competence who can be responsible for several of the installation and integration activities in our project deliveries. The work includes both delivery of professional services within our projects and further development of our installation methods and system solutions. The largest part of the work is carried out in our office and in our test environment, but you will also participate in commissioning at our customers.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test and commission systems within our project deliveries.
- Set up and administer system and security environments, including Active Directory, Kerberos, Group Policy and DNS.
- Install various software components and third-party products for system platforms, databases and cyber security functions.
- Configure and test SCADA functions.
- Implement bug fixes and system upgrades at customers.
- Maintain and update the projects' development environments with customer customizations and project-specific deviations, including source code, configuration files and installation packages.
- Produce clear and detailed documentation of system configurations, such as system diagrams, configuration descriptions, sizing and user policies.
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) in close cooperation with our customers, including implementation of customer training.
Requirements
- Experience in installation and system administration of Linux and Windows servers, both in physical and virtual environments (VMware and Hyper-V).
- College or university education in software development, computer technology or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.
- Experience installing and working with Network Manager or similar SCADA, EMS or DMS systems.
- A creative and solution-oriented way of working, with the ability to search for information, solve technical problems and understand and write in at least one scripting language, for example PowerShell, Linux Shell, Perl or VBS.
- Experience installing and configuring computers and servers, including IP and network configuration, firmware updates, disk management and partitioning, and operating system installation and security hardening.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
