Role Summary

Your exciting tasks

Operation, administration and further development of our Linux-based FTP/SFTP server landscape including associated automation and shell scripts

Active participation and prospective assumption of a central role in the introduction of a modern managed file transfer solution (MFT), from requirements analysis to product selection and migration

• Support in connecting and supporting interfaces in the SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Integration (CI) environment
• Administration, monitoring and continuous optimization of file transfer protocols such as FTP, FTPS and SFTP/SSH
• Ensuring stable, high-performance and secure operation of the file transfer infrastructure
• Close collaboration with internal departments, IT teams as well as external service providers and business partners to implement integration requirements

Requirements

What you bring with you

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in the administration of Linux systems (e.g. Debian, Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE)
• Knowledge of shell scripting (ideally Bash) and the use of file transfer protocols such as FTP, FTPS and SFTP/SSH
• Good understanding of network and security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, certificates and encryption)
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• Ideally, initial experience with managed file transfer solutions as well as basic knowledge of SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Integration (CI)
• Experience with monitoring, automation or DevOps tools as well as in IT infrastructure, transformation or migration projects is an advantage
• Structured and independent way of working, high willingness to learn as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
