Stagiair Retail Consultant (meewerkstage)

Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern for a period of approximately 6 months. During this internship you will fully participate within the Retail Consultancy team and you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience within the food safety industry with a focus on the retail sector.

As an intern, you support consultants in various projects in the field of food safety, monitoring and quality management. You will learn how retailers and importers are supported in improving processes and ensuring product safety within the chain. You will be given a lot of responsibility and you will work together with colleagues, customers and international laboratories.

• During this internship you will be involved in, among other things:
• Support in drawing up monitoring plans for various foodstuffs
• Selecting suitable analyzes for various product categories
• Reviewing analysis reports and identifying deviations
• Supporting consultants with advice questions and projects
• Thinking about improvements to internal processes and working methods
• Contribute to projects regarding food safety and quality improvement within the chain

In addition to working within the team, there is room to further develop yourself and to fulfill personal learning goals or internship assignments from your education.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following

• You are a HBO or WO student, preferably in the field of Food & Business, Food Safety, Food Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics or similar
• You have an affinity with nutrition, retail and food safety
• You work accurately and have an analytical view
• You have good communication skills and can work well together
• You are proactive and dare to take initiative
• You have a good command of both the Dutch and English language, orally and in writing
• You are available for an internship period of approximately 6 months
