Sr Software Engineer Backend

Role Summary

We have an opportunity for you, we are looking for a Sr Software Engineer Backend to join the Global Incentives Services (GIS) team. This team functions as a Center of Excellence with a clear mission: to revolutionize the way we interact with our millions of users, partners and riders through intelligent, personalized and efficient incentives. From this global team, we design, develop and scale solutions for all Delivery Hero group brands worldwide.

Lead the development of scalable microservices, ensuring high standards of code quality and health.

Design and implement technical solutions by analyzing data and facts to solve complex problems.

Manage priorities and technical requirements, balancing technical excellence with business times.

Collaborate with teams from multiple countries to transform the storage and orchestration of incentives and improve the user experience.

Drive continuous product improvement through the integration of high-impact internal and external services.

Requirements

• Solid development experience with Golang and microservices architectures.
• Mastery of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Testing strategies (unitary, integration) and culture of observability and monitoring (Grafana or similar).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (Jenkins).
• Team mentality, agility to learn and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical profiles.
• Advanced English.
