- Expertise in modernization projects for legacy Java/JEE systems for architecture for containerized applications;
- Knowledge of migration strategy for monolithic applications (e.g.: strangler fig, incremental rearchitecture, coexistence between legacy and new systems);
- Knowledge of security and authentication architecture, communication and integration between systems (REST APIs, messaging);
- Knowledge of architectural patterns for resilience and fault tolerance, caching, distributed transactions and queues;
- Knowledge of containerization strategy and Kubernetes/OpenShift platform adoption, including base infrastructure;
- Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps practices for deployment automation;
- Knowledge of deployment strategy, monitoring and observability of systems;
- Technical leadership in application development and modernization projects, working in architecture forums;
- Solid knowledge in Software Engineering processes, Service Oriented Architecture, Reverse Engineering;
Mastery of software design techniques, including Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters), Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design, API First, ADRs, agile methods and systems configuration management;
Basic knowledge of project management techniques.

Minimum of 8 years in the role.
Required Technologies
- Java and Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud;
- REST APIs;
- Hexagonal Architecture (Ports & Adapters) and Clean Code principles;
- Containers (Docker) and orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift;
- Messaging and queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar);
- Distributed cache (Redis or similar);
- CI/CD (Bitbucket) and GitOps (ArgoCD);
- Authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT);
Resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead).

Degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar.

Desirable
- Knowledge of legacy Java 6/JEE, DWR and JSP, JQuery, Spring Batch applications to support backward compatibility and migration strategies;
- Observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Dynatrace or similar);
- CDN, MinIO and static file storage strategies;
- Asynchronous processing, parallel threads and batch routines;
- Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence applied to software engineering, including use of coding agents (e.g.: Claude Code, Kiro) and LLMs in the development cycle;
- Harness engineering: definition of guardrails for AI agents (guides and sensors, deterministic and inferential checks) to reduce the need for manual review;
- Creation and use of Agent Skills (files) to automate recurring architecture and development tasks with AI agents.
