Solution Architect

Role Summary

As a Solution Architect at GGZ inGeest, you help our healthcare professionals do their work better and smarter – with reliable, safe and well-integrated information systems. You are the link between strategy and implementation, and translate our organizational goals into a clear technological course.

What are you going to do?

As a Solution Architect you design and monitor the ICT architecture of GGZ inGeest. You ensure that our information provision matches the strategic ambitions of the organization and the needs of healthcare and business operations.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in, among other things

• You draw up concrete solution designs (blueprints) for new projects and changes, specifically aimed at our (healthcare) application landscape and our IT environment.
• You are involved in initiatives from the start, analyze the information needs and determine the frameworks within which developers and suppliers must build the solution.
• You are the director of the application landscape. You ensure that systems (such as the EPD, e-health modules, and Office 365) are and remain logically, securely and efficiently connected to each other.
• You translate abstract goals (such as 'cloud-first' or 'security-by-design') into practical guidelines and 'building blocks' that project teams can apply.
• You provide solicited and unsolicited advice to management and project leaders about technological choices, the impact of new software and the feasibility of innovations.
• You interact with management, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that your designs actually solve the bottlenecks in practice.

Requirements

You combine analytical sharpness with connecting skills. You can think conceptually and provide practical advice.

Furthermore you have

• WO working and thinking level, preferably towards Business Informatics.
• Experience with architectural methods, such as TOGAF or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft and (healthcare) applications.
• Insight into business processes and their translation into information and ICT architectures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to create support within different layers of the organization.
• A proactive attitude: you identify opportunities, advise and take initiative.
