Cloud Engineer

Role Summary

Do you like to work on cloud environments that are technically sound and also continue to work in practice?

As a Cloud Engineer you design, build and manage cloud solutions within AWS, Azure or GCP. You work on projects for both public organizations and enterprise customers, often in environments where reliability and social impact play a major role.

You set up platforms, automate infrastructure and ensure that environments run safely and stably. Think of organizations where continuity is important and systems have a direct effect on users.

You work with Kubernetes or OpenShift for container platforms and use tools such as Terraform, Bicep and Ansible to set up and manage infrastructure. You can set up monitoring and logging with, for example, Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, so that systems remain transparent and problems are resolved quickly.

Together with colleagues from DevOps, network and architecture, you work on environments that connect to existing IT landscapes. You solve malfunctions, improve performance and ensure that everything is well documented.

Requirements

You bring the following

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
• Basic knowledge of networking, IAM and cloud security
• Experience with CI/CD within cloud environments
• Familiar with monitoring and logging
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps or CKA are a plus
• You enjoy working with automation and solving technical problems in a structured manner
• You speak Dutch at a professional level
