Oracle Cloud Engineer

Role Summary

As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you help organizations design, build and manage robust Oracle environments. You combine in-depth technical knowledge with advisory skills and play a key role in modernizing and optimizing infrastructures and databases.

You work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle databases and use automation to make environments scalable, secure and manageable. You use tools such as Ansible and Terraform. You think about architectural choices, solve complex technical issues and guide customers in their digital transformation.

In addition to project work, you are also involved in pre-sales processes. You provide technical input for quotes and tenders and help convince customers with clear, well-substantiated solutions. You work closely with colleagues within the Oracle practice and act as a sparring partner for both customers and team members.

Requirements

You get energy from complex technical environments and enjoy making Oracle solutions stable, scalable and future-proof. You think architecturally, work in a structured way and know how to clearly explain technical choices to customers and colleagues. You switch easily between implementation and advice and take responsibility for your solutions.

• An HBO or WO diploma in an IT field and at least B2 level Dutch
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), middleware and databases
• Knowledge of Oracle databases including installation, configuration and optimization and/or open-source variants such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaD
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform
• You have strong communication skills, are proactive and enjoy sharing your knowledge within the team
