Cloud Solutions Architect

Role Summary

Do you enjoy working on cloud architectures that are not only well designed, but also remain scalable and secure in practice?

As a Cloud Architect you work on complex environments for both public organizations and enterprise customers. You design, realize and optimize cloud solutions, taking performance, security and scalability into account.

You use technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to containerize and orchestrate applications. You will work with cloud-native solutions, serverless architectures and DevOps methods.

You play a role in making technical choices and helping organizations to further their cloud adoption. This requires analytical skills, overview and collaboration with different teams.

Together with engineers and other stakeholders, you ensure that solutions connect to existing IT landscapes and are ready for further growth. You contribute to stable and future-proof environments.

Requirements

You bring the following

• A completed HBO education in an IT field
• You speak Dutch and English
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Red Hat
• Knowledge of container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift and cloud-native solutions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example with Terraform, Bicep or Ansible
• Familiar with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry or Dynatrace
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub or GitLab
• Knowledge of deployment methods such as GitOps, Helm and ArgoCD
• Familiar with security tools such as SonarCloud, Snyk, Checkmarx or Dependency Track
• Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps or SRE methods
