We are seeking a workshop-based Mechanic / Service Technician to diagnose, service, overhaul, and repair industrial fluid handling and paint spraying equipment (e.g., Graco, Wagner, Titan, Kremlin).

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electric faults on paint spraying pumps, guns, and fluid equipment brought into the workshop.
• Repair & Overhaul: Strip down machines, replace worn fluid sections, seals, packings, and valves, and rebuild to factory specs.
• Testing: Quality-test all repaired units using high-pressure mediums to ensure stable delivery and safety before customer pickup.
• Documentation: Maintain clear bench service records and log parts required for invoicing and inventory management.
• Workshop Upkeep: Keep workshop tools, testing bays, and communal repair areas clean, safe, and organized.

Requirements

• Experience: Mechanical or technical experience in a related field is highly preferred. Backgrounds in tool hire fitting, fluid handling, pneumatic pumps, hydraulics, small engine repair, or automotive mechanics translate perfectly.
• Technical Skill: Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of pneumatic valves, seals, and gaskets.
• Problem Solving: Ability to read technical drawings and parts schematics to troubleshoot equipment.
• Communication: Fluent English to communicate effectively with the workshop team and front-office staff.
