Role Summary

We are currently seeking 3 skilled and reliable Car/Motor Mechanic who will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing cars and other motor vehicles to ensure they are safe, roadworthy, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and replace faulty or worn components, including brakes, clutches, suspension, steering, exhaust systems, and engine parts.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and other preventative maintenance.
- Inspect vehicles to identify potential safety issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Carry out engine diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements.
- Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure faults have been resolved.
- Use hand tools, power tools, vehicle lifts, and specialist diagnostic equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and servicing completed.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, health and safety procedures, and industry standards.
- Keep the workshop and equipment clean, organised, and in good working condition.
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues regarding vehicle faults, repairs, costs, and required maintenance.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Motor/Vehicle Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults.
- Good knowledge of servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
- Full driving licence is desirable.
- Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship is desirable.
