Service technician (m/f/d) at Smiths Group in Frankfurt am Main, HE, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out commissioning / service work / maintenance and repairs
- You install standard systems and put them into operation. You test, optimize and adjust their functions and ensure that deadlines are met.
- You carry out operator training, accompany customer acceptance, replace parts and modules and take care of the procurement of spare parts.
You carry out maintenance and repair work on standard systems as well as on automatic systems under supervision. In doing so, you carry out the agreed services in the service contracts. You determine the technical condition of the facilities and systems and, if necessary, advise customers on preventive maintenance.
- You diagnose and specify errors, analyze malfunctions and suggest corrective measures, which you carry out yourself if necessary.
- In the event of a warranty claim, you will clarify the causes, determine the extent of the damage or repairs and forward them for a decision.
Creating documentation
You create or supplement service reports and protocols, such as measurement and error protocols. You adapt related documents such as system overviews, cable plans and revision plans.
Requirements
- You have completed at least 3 years of specialist vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial technology or electronics technician for energy and building technology.
- You have experience with common Microsoft Office software applications.
- Your strong customer orientation sets you apart.
- You present yourself appropriately to customers and have good communication skills.
- The ability to work in a team, self-motivation and reliability are among your strengths.
- You have fluent written and spoken German, knowledge of English is desirable.
- Bring a clean police clearance certificate with you.
