Role Summary

• Maintenance, repairs and functional testing of analysis devices and analysis systems at customers' sites in Germany and neighboring countries
• Independent error analysis and troubleshooting in the mechanical, pneumatic and electrical areas
• Telephone and technical support for malfunctions and user questions
• Carrying out diagnostic work and repairs on analysis devices in our support center in Essen
• Support for conversions, expansions and customer-specific adjustments of analysis systems
• Participation in special system construction, especially in the mechanical construction, piping and wiring of control cabinets with analysis technology
• Close collaboration with internal departments to develop and implement technical customer solutions
• Careful documentation of all service, maintenance and support operations as well as the technical measures carried out

Requirements

Completed technical training, e.g. B. as a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d), electronics engineer (m/f/d), IT system electronics engineer (m/f/d), radio and television technician (m/f/d), chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) or chemical technician (m/f/d)

• good knowledge of electronics and practical experience in servicing, repairing and servicing technical systems; Knowledge of precision mechanics is an advantage
• Knowledge of remote maintenance and technical drawing programs is an advantage
• Strong service and customer orientation, high willingness to travel and enjoyment of direct customer contact
• Independent, responsible way of working, combined with the ability to work in a team, initiative and flexibility
• very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2) as well as a class B driving license
