Service technician palletizing & packaging (m/f/d)

Role Summary

As a palletizing & packaging service technician (m/f/d), you are a central part of the BEUMER Group's service and project environment. You ensure that palletizing and packaging systems run reliably, safely and efficiently worldwide. With your technical know-how, your customer-oriented demeanor and your interest in modern technology, you will make a significant contribution to long-term customer satisfaction and the success of international projects.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, inspection and repair work on palletizing and packaging systems
• Analyze and resolve technical malfunctions in compliance with all security guidelines
• Replacement, repair and optimization of mechanical and electrical components
• Training customers and technicians in operation, maintenance and preventive measures
• Advice on spare parts and on optimizing system availability
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through professional and solution-oriented dialogue
• Use of digital tools and modern technologies such as AR/VR to support service operations
• Documentation of service calls, repairs and customer contacts in modern software systems

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a mechatronics engineer
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international environment
• Good mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge as well as experience in reading circuit diagrams
• Experience in installation, maintenance and service of machines, preferably in the areas of palletizing and packaging
• Strong customer orientation as well as empathetic and proactive communication
• Interested in developing leadership skills and taking on responsibility in the future
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Internationally valid driving license
• Very good knowledge of German and good English
