For our Tax Compliance team, we are looking for people with practical experience in activities in the area, with a hands-on profile and a focus on carrying out calculation routines, including monthly and annual closing. You will work directly with a focus on the Asaas Group's tax-regulatory compliance, using mainly organizational skills, deadline management, technical rigor, ability to solve problems, dynamism and systemic vision on the impact of investigations on the Asaas Group.

Calculate current and deferred taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, Cofins, ISS, IOF, CPRB, Simples/DAS) of Asaas Group companies, ensuring the correct application of best market practices and redefining criteria whenever necessary;

  • Maintain the team's extra-fiscal controls, ensuring traceability and compliance of the investigations carried out;
  • Reconcile accounting accounts relating to taxes, identifying and correcting differences in origin;
  • Deliver Asaas Group's ancillary declarations (ECF, DCTFWeb, EFD-Contribuições, Reinf, e-Financeira, among others), ensuring timely deliveries;
  • Post incoming and outgoing invoices, including issuing NF-e for onboarding new employees;
  • Carry out internal services and consultancies according to demand, presenting the respective technical feedback;

Carry out tax projections for Asaas Group companies related to the Compliance routine, justifying the variations presented between budgeted and realized and creating an action plan for any inconsistencies found;

Build the team's tax indicators (e.g.: effective tax rate, aging of reconciliations, SLA of ancillary obligations) and consolidate management reports for leaders;

  • Perform the operational adaptation of Asaas Group companies to the Tax Reform (Split Payment, IBS/CBS), ensuring regularity in all stages of the transition;
  • Analyze the impacts of new Asaas Group products on the tax calculation and collection routine;
  • Execute projects involving operational tax issues, ensuring regularity and completion of the necessary steps;
  • Maintain tax governance, covering the activities covered by the Tax Compliance team;
  • Make contact with tax agencies whenever necessary;
  • Assist internal areas, when necessary, regarding operational tax issues;
  • Meet external demands, including external audits and Due Diligence processes, regarding tax issues;

Support, review and monitor the deliveries of the team's most junior analysts, when applicable.

Higher education completed in Accounting, Law, Administration or related areas.

Higher education in progress in Tax Law, Tax Management or related areas.

Intermediate English.
