Role Summary

As an experienced director of housing projects, you are able to shape and successfully complete a project within a sometimes politically challenging environment. With an eye for the interests of the client and with respect for all stakeholders.

The days are never the same and require improvisation and flexibility.

You help the customer define their wishes, you can formulate a (technical) program of requirements, you know how to guide the customer in selecting the right consultants, you can assess estimates and drawings, you have knowledge of purchasing processes in construction and you are able to manage a project from the initiative phase to delivery.

You are aware of the latest developments in the field and we expect that you, as a project manager, have your own network and are active in recruiting new assignments.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the field of facility or real estate project management;
• You have completed an HBO or WO study in the field of Real Estate, Construction, Facility Management or Industrial Engineering;
• You are a results- and customer-oriented professional with experience in complex construction and housing processes where you monitor and control costs, quality and planning;
• You are responsible for project management and, based on your experience, you can set up a project organization, make plans and prepare cost estimates;
• You are an expert at identifying risks and proposing measures to manage them;
• You periodically report to the client on management aspects and you advise the steering group on decisions to be taken;
• You have a great affinity with interior design, stakeholder management and project management;
• You feel at home in an environment where innovation, digitalization and sustainability are of paramount importance;
