Senior Project Management Expert (m/w/d)

Role Summary

You ensure that our international projects are successfully implemented according to uniform standards. You will continuously develop our project management system, support project managers as a coach and sparring partner, and help establish and continually optimize our project management methods worldwide.

• You will take on the following tasks, among others:
• Continuous development of our project management system (PMS) as well as the underlying methods and standards
• Administration and support of our project management software including first and second level support
• Support in planning, controlling and monitoring international projects including scheduling, cost and performance controlling
• Coaching of project managers in the use of the project management system and in the preparation of project reviews
• Implementation of training and qualification measures for project managers and employees
• Carrying out project audits, quality checks and checking stage gates to ensure our quality standards
• Development and continuous maintenance of the project skill matrix
• Taking over the management or deputy management of projects as well as support with international site start-ups
• Close collaboration with international departments and continuous development of our project management processes

Requirements

• Successfully completed business or technical studies with a focus on logistics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in an international logistics environment
• In-depth knowledge of modern project management methods as well as certification according to IPMA (Level C or D) or a comparable qualification
• Experience in conducting training, workshops or coaching is an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with project management software
• Fluent German and English skills; Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working
• Strong communication and presentation skills as well as a confident appearance at all hierarchical levels
• High team orientation, assertiveness and a strong understanding of economic relationships
• Unrestricted willingness to travel
