Role Summary

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Do you love IT? With all the trimmings? Perfect! Because nothing works without IT – not even in logistics. In cooperation with the Ostfalia University of Applied Science, we will train you to become an IT professional at the Salzgitter location. In the end you even get two degrees. Would you like a little foretaste? Your subjects include, among others: Computer engineering, system engineering, information engineering, software engineering, application development and media informatics. During your practical phases, you will receive a comprehensive overview of the diverse IT processes in combination with our logistical processes and intensive insights into the topics of programming, IoT, analytics, AI/AI, data security and analysis, networks, server structures and IT support.

After 3.5 years you will achieve the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and IT specialist in application development (IHK) degrees. The course comprises a total of seven semesters, divided into one semester of training and six semesters of standard study time.

• You have a university entrance qualification (Abitur or technical college entrance qualification)
• You speak German – English and other languages would be a nice bonus
• You also have mathematical knowledge (preferably at advanced level)
• You think analytically and enjoy working with numbers
• You can be relied upon: you are committed and happy to contribute your ideas
• Team player? Perfect! You are also curious and have a great desire to learn new things
