The Senior Data Security Analyst is responsible for implementing and operating data protection controls that keep iFood's sensitive corporate data safe.

This position focuses on the corporate data protection dimension: how internal collaborators and third parties deal with sensitive information through devices, SaaS platforms, cloud services and communication channels — and with production data —; how data flows between systems, integrations, partners and customers. The Senior Analyst works hands-on with DLP tools, data classification frameworks and SaaS security configurations — translating security policies into functional controls and operational processes. We are looking for a technically prepared person who takes responsibility for their own work autonomously and who is genuinely motivated to find and close data exposure gaps before they become incidents.

  • Operate and adjust DLP policies for endpoints, cloud applications, and communication channels — reducing false positives and maintaining effective detection coverage.
  • Investigate DLP alerts and data exposure incidents: correlate signals, assess severity, and contribute findings to CSIRT investigations.
  • Support the implementation and application of data classification policies and processing procedures for internal users and third parties.
  • Monitor and enforce security configurations of corporate SaaS platforms: Google Workspace, Salesforce, Databricks, Slack and similar tools.
  • Support enforcement of Document Retention & Disposal policies — ensuring corporate data is retained, archived and disposed of in compliance with LGPD, GDPR and internal requirements.
  • Monitor insider threat indicators and contribute to behavioral analytics rules that detect anomalous data access or movement.
  • Support the enforcement of device posture policies — ensuring that only compliant devices access corporate systems.
  • Participate in Sensitive Data Mapping initiatives — helping to identify, catalog and classify sensitive data assets in corporate and production environments.
  • Use AI tools to improve the quality of DLP policies, accelerate alert triage, and identify patterns in data exposure events.
  • Create and maintain operational metrics on alert volumes, policy violations, false positive rates, and remediation progress.
  • Document findings, decisions and processes clearly to support team knowledge and operational continuity.

Requirements

Ingredients We Look For

  • Hands-on experience with DLP tools and policies in corporate and production environments.
  • Knowledge of data classification concepts and how to apply them in practice.
  • Experience investigating data exposure incidents and correlating signals from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with corporate SaaS security hardening (Google Workspace, Salesforce or similar).
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: LGPD, GDPR, PCI-DSS, BACEN, among others.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve the speed of investigations, reduce noise, or automate repetitive security tasks.
  • Detailed and analytical profiling: ability to follow a data exposure signal to its root cause.
  • Autonomy and organization: ability to manage one's own work, escalate when necessary, and document findings clearly.
  • Collaboration: works well with CSIRT, IT, Legal, engineering teams, among others.
  • Advanced English (mandatory).
  • Experience with SASE platforms (Netskope, Zscaler) or similar is an advantage.
