Role Summary

The oldest parliament complex in Europe still in use is currently being thoroughly renovated. While Dutch politics continues at a different location, security is still needed for the Binnenhof. Securitas may perform this task.

We are present at the entrance gates and in the central control room. We keep an eye on the entire complex in the control room. As a dispatcher, you manage ambulant security guards to resolve issues on location. You also work closely with the fire guard and the chief security officer. To get started in the control room, several years of experience as a dispatcher is necessary.

At the entrance gates, welcome and register registered visitors to the construction site. This ranges from prominent political figures or media to construction workers and contractors working on the renovation. You are responsible for the entry and exit of construction traffic and check whether documents are correct. You do this according to strict procedures and safety guidelines. The mornings are very busy, so acting quickly and accurately is no problem for you.

Requirements

Due to the high security level of this location, an additional and extensive background screening is a mandatory part of the placement procedure.

• In possession of a Security Diploma MBO 2
• At least 3 years of experience as a dispatcher if you want to work in the control room
• No diploma yet? You can follow your training here provided you have similar work experience/study
• Available for 24/7 alternating shifts (day, evening, night and weekends)
• You live within a 40KM radius of The Hague
• If you have a day shift, you come by public transport
• You recognize yourself in our core values: integrity, vigilance and helpfulness
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
• Reliable, stress-resistant and strong communicator
