Role Summary

You ensure that samples are prepared correctly, so that our analysts can perform reliable measurements. In this role you work accurately, follow clear guidelines and contribute directly to food safety in the Netherlands. You will end up in a close-knit team where collaboration is central and where you see every day how your work has an impact.

What are you going to do?

You prepare samples according to fixed regulations, so that your fellow analysts can perform their analyzes properly. You will learn various extractions and techniques and work carefully, because accuracy is essential for the health of people and animals. You work in a team that starts together every day and divides the tasks based on everyone's qualities and interests.

In addition to the daily work, you and the team are also responsible for equipment maintenance, maintaining the quality system and you can participate in projects, such as developing new analysis methods with the R&D team or IT projects surrounding our information systems (LIMS). You work in varying shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM) and occasionally on Saturdays.

What do we ask of you?

Preferably training in laboratory technology or chemistry; motivation and mentality are just as important.

You work accurately, efficiently and according to guidelines.

You are proactive, results-oriented and handle confidential information with care.

You maintain an overview and enjoy working together in a team.

You are available for 40 hours a week and you don't mind changing shifts.
