NDT Technician

We have several projects in Rotterdam and the surrounding area where we are looking for an NDT Technician with experience.

As an NDT Technician you are responsible for inspecting welded connections. You work in a team and carry out various non-destructive material research. Examples of non-destructive material testing are X-ray, ultrasonic, penetrant and magnetic testing.

In this position you will also be involved in the following activities:

You conduct research within your research discipline on behalf of the planner or project manager.

• You report the research findings;
• You communicate your research findings with the customer at the site of execution;
• You ensure safe working methods in a often complex working environment;

You act representatively and are also alert to new potential customers.

Your training program will also involve administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and scanning radiographic recordings.

We will provide you with a number of additional conditions in this position, so that you can do your job without any worries. An extensive training in short modules in which you develop on the job into a fully certified NDT Technician. Naturally, a company car will be made available for commuting.

Requirements

• If you have a technical background and an MBO working and thinking level, then we are looking for you! Do you recognize yourself in the additional requirements below? Then respond now!
• You don't mind working irregular hours (not an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. job);
• You are in possession of a driving license B;
• VCA certificate is an advantage, but not a requirement;
• NDT certificates (RT/MT/UT/PT)

• Salary for junior/medior/senior NDO operators is between € 2750 and € 4250 gross per month

About the Company

SGS Nederland B.V. has divided its services into 5 business lines, of which SGS Industrial is involved in various technical inspections of industrial equipment. The NDT department inspects and checks technical installations. From above-ground storage tanks to pipelines, from supervision of the new construction of factories, to inspection during a business shutdown. Our NDT employees examine critical welded connections and determine wall thickness reductions in structures, plate or pipe material.

Major clients of our work can be found in the petrochemical industry and in the construction of offshore platforms and pipelines. Construction construction, pipeline construction, storage terminals and general industry.
