Your role: ensure that Schiphol remains audible (and) safe
As a Field Service Technician – Audio Safety you work in the middle of a live operational environment where systems always remain active.
You ensure that
- installations function correctly
- faults are resolved quickly
- systems remain reliable during changes
- technology in practice does what it is supposed to do
You are the one in control when systems become critical.
This is not a standard service function. You work on security systems that are directly part of the airport operation.

Responsibilities
What you do specifically
- From maintenance to live system validation
- Commissioning of audio and evacuation systems
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Resolving technical faults
- Performing functional tests in live environments
- Check whether systems respond correctly in practical situations
- Perform software updates and changes
- Implementing minor technical adjustments
- Recording activities and service reports
- Collaborate with engineers, colleagues and external parties
- Working according to ARBO, VCA and airport safety guidelines
- You ensure that systems are not only operational — but also continue to function reliably when it counts.

Requirements
- MBO+ Electrical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of IT and network-driven systems
- Experience with audio, evacuation or similar systems
- Ability to analyze and resolve faults
- Independent and precise working attitude
