SALES CONSULTANT (FULL TIME) - JYSK Emaar - KADIKOY

Role Summary

Leading Scandinavian home furnishings retailer JYSK is looking for a full-time Sales Associate to join our team at our Tepe Nautilus location in Kadıköy, Türkiye. As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while increasing sales and achieving store goals.

• Provide superior customer service by greeting customers, assessing their needs and providing personalized product recommendations
• Gain in-depth knowledge of JYSK products and help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Consistently achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system
• Maintaining an orderly and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking products and creating attractive product displays
• Staying current on product information, promotions and store policies to effectively handle customer questions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation
• Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills
• Professionally handle customer concerns and complaints by seeking appropriate solutions to maintain customer satisfaction

Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments and performing stock counts.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent school diploma required
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Persuasive sales techniques and the ability to close sales effectively
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Interest in home furnishings and interior design is a plus
• Fluency in Turkish is required; Proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company
