Order Picker

Role Summary

As an Order Picker, you will be an essential link in the warehouse to enable the preparation and shipping of consumables and packaging necessary for sample collection for our laboratories and end customers.

Responsibilities

• More precisely, your missions will be as follows
• Ensure the preparation of orders for vials and other sampling media.
• Restock picking racks, track consumables to be ordered.
• Be versatile in the warehouse depending on the workload of the teams: protect our most fragile bottles before shipping, repackage our specific coolers

Participate in loading orders or unloading consumables

• Ensure compliance with the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and labor law regulations.
• Respect safety, hygiene and environmental instructions.
• Become aware of and apply changes to the management system in force.
• Participate in the evolution of work organization in order to improve quality and safety, increase productivity and reduce the environmental footprint.

Requirements

• You ideally have a BAC to BAC+2 and have initial experience in industry or a warehouse.
• You are passionate about logistics and want to work for health and life.
• You are dynamic, autonomous and proactive by nature and demonstrate good communication and rigor. You like working in a team. You know how to respect the operating procedures and processes in force.
• You know how to use common computer software through multiple interfaces (computers, tablets, smartphones, etc.)

This permanent position concerns more specifically one of our entities located in Saverne, in Alsace, in Bas Rhin, 40 minutes from Strasbourg.

Eurofins Environnement Logistique France: is the internal logistics platform for our network of laboratories. This entity is responsible for providing support to network laboratories and their customers for all their logistics activities (transport and management of sample flows, preparation and shipping of consumables and packaging, deposit, storage, etc.)
