Role Summary

Our customer is an established, family-run company with around 100 employees. The company plans, implements and supports sophisticated technical systems for industrial, commercial and private customers and accompanies projects from planning through execution to subsequent service.

The range of services includes in particular the areas of heating, plumbing, ventilation and cooling as well as solutions for water and wastewater treatment and renewable energies. The company location is in Herzberg am Harz, and the projects are also implemented nationally.

You can expect a medium-sized working environment with flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes and plenty of space for independent work.

Responsibilities

• We as VOLENTUM Personalberatung are looking for a TGA calculator (m/f/d) on behalf of our customer for a long-term and responsible task in the area of technical building equipment.
• In the position, you will take on a central function in the economic evaluation and preparation of offers for demanding technical building equipment projects.

Your tasks include in particular

• Independent review and evaluation of tender and calculation documents
• Calculation of TGA projects and preparation of competitive offers
• Creation and processing of supplementary offers during project execution
• Obtaining and evaluating prices from suppliers and subcontractors
• Coordination with purchasing, construction management, project managers and the calculation management
• Participation in price, award and supplementary negotiations, if this is necessary for the respective project
• Economic evaluation of the projects taking into account technical and commercial conditions
• Processing of both public and private tenders
• You don't have to cover all TGA trades equally. In-depth knowledge of heating, plumbing or refrigeration, for example, can provide a good basis for getting started. Missing knowledge in related areas can be built up within the company.
• You work in a well-rehearsed calculation team and report directly to the calculation manager.

Requirements

For this position we are looking for a personality who combines technical understanding with a strong eye for economic relationships.

Ideally, you have the following requirements

• Completed technical, craft or commercial training related to technical building equipment
• For example, experience as a SHK system mechanic, SHK master or a commercial qualification with strong technical understanding
• At least two to three years of relevant professional experience in the TGA, SHK, HLS or HKLS environment and reference to calculation
• Experience in dealing with tender and calculation documents
• Knowledge of supplementary management
• Safe economic thinking and acting
• Good MS Office knowledge
• Initiative, structured way of working and ability to work in a team
