With around 65 employees, the company develops and produces high-quality solutions in the areas of mechanical engineering, container construction as well as trailer and vehicle construction.

The order situation is solid, the company is fully self-financed and has a strong market position.

A company. Three business areas. A responsibility. As a result of a generational transition, we are now looking for an entrepreneurial personality as managing director (m/f/d) who will run the company operationally and shape its future together with the shareholders.

Responsibilities

• This position is specifically aimed at people who not only want to manage, but also want to shape things.
• You assume overall operational responsibility for the company and continue to manage all business areas with an entrepreneurial perspective.
• You see yourself as a link between shareholders, managers and employees and ensure that strategy and operational implementation are permanently intertwined.
• Your tasks include in particular

Overall responsibility for the operational business

• Control of the areas of construction trailer and vehicle construction, container construction and mechanical engineering, with the mechanical engineering area already being well responsible.
• Further development of the organization in terms of productivity, cost-effectiveness and collaboration - here too, with a particular focus on trailer and vehicle construction as well as container construction.
• Tracking and securing already high sales areas, identifying new market potential and developing sustainable growth strategies
• Further development of existing sales and market strategies in a national and international environment
• Responsibility for results, budget and corporate management
• Leadership and further development of existing managers
• Close cooperation with the shareholders regarding strategic issues
• Ensuring a trusting and appreciative corporate culture

Requirements

You are a generalist, feel comfortable in both the technical environment and with commercial issues and can easily switch between both worlds depending on the situation.

Ideally you have

• a completed technical or economic degree (e.g. vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable)
• several years of management experience as a plant manager, operations manager or in comparable responsibility
• Experience in vehicle, mechanical or special machine construction or a comparable industrial environment
• a good understanding of medium-sized manufacturing companies
• entrepreneurial thinking and strong decision-making skills
• Enjoy developing people and leading organizations
• an appreciative leadership style and a high level of personal integrity
