Information Security Officer m/w/d

Role Summary

• Designing and managing awareness campaigns and training to raise awareness among BayWa employees
• Support in the implementation and continuous improvement of information security management systems (ISMS)
• Development of security guidelines and standards for BayWa based on recognized standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001:2022, IT-Grundschutz)

Ability to carry out protection needs assessments, risk analyzes and security concepts as well as deriving and controlling measures to appropriately improve the level of information security

Advice on managing information security risks using current best practices in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders

Advice on business continuity management (e.g. disaster recovery and emergency plans)

Requirements

• You have completed a MINT degree, ideally in the field of computer science, or have completed a subject-specific vocational training course of at least three years
• You also have two to three years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the area of information or IT security
• You are familiar with applicable standards (such as ISO/IEC 27001 and/or IT-Grundschutz) and have knowledge of critical infrastructures
• You have knowledge of regulatory requirements in the German and European context, in particular the BSI Act, the KRITIS Regulation and NIS2, and their practical implementation in the company
• You have a basic understanding of organizational and business relationships
• You can safely use Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools (e.g. Jira).
• You are characterized by a high level of customer orientation, teamwork, integrity and enthusiasm
• You have native German language skills and good English skills
• Independent, result-oriented and responsible actions complete your profile
