Industrial mechanic (m/f/d) in the maintenance area at BEUMER Group in Berlin, BE, Germany.

Role Summary

• Assembly and disassembly of components and assemblies to keep machines operational
• mechanical refurbishment and replacement of components and assemblies together with the team
• Maintenance and repair of large equipment as well as processing and conveyor systems
• Processing and connecting steel and metal parts according to technical specifications
• Welding work (approx. 30% of the activity) as part of the maintenance and repair of components is an integral part of everyday work

Requirements

• Completed commercial-technical training, e.g. B. as an industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, metal technology specialist/metal worker or a comparable qualification (we also warmly welcome committed career changers with appropriate practical experience)
• Good technical knowledge of drive and conveyor technology, mechanical maintenance as well as structural and industrial metal construction (knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is desirable)
• Experience in welding (MMA 111 and MAG 135) desirable (existing welding certificates are ideal, but can also be acquired internally from us)
• Willingness for permanent daytime assembly work
• Experience in the power plant or energy plant sector is a welcome advantage and will make your entry easier
