Role Summary
As our service colleague, you will be an integral part of our service team, working on all aspects of power tool repair and maintenance. Your everyday life will be varied with everything from detailed workshop repairs to supporting logistical and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who is a good team player, always ready to lend a helping hand and adapt to the needs of the business.
Workshop-based tasks
Diagnosis and repair: Diagnose faults effectively and repair a wide range of Bosch power tools according to Bosch's technical specifications and quality standards. This includes disassembly, inspection, replacement of components and re-assembly of tools.
Testing and Calibration: Perform thorough functional and safety testing on repaired tools to ensure best possible performance and compliance.
Preventive maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and service on tools to extend their life.
Parts handling: Assist with support for orders and stock management of spare parts.
Workshop organisation: Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment. This includes cleaning, waste management, as well as making sure that tools and equipment are in the right place.

Responsibilities
- Logistics and administration: Support with goods receipt/delivery, packing, dispatch and basic administrative tasks related to service orders and documentation.
- Training and Development: Actively participate in training programs to stay current on new products, technologies and repair techniques.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other colleagues, service advisors and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and troubleshoot problems, and offer practical and effective solutions.
- Ad-Hoc support: Be prepared to assist with other tasks required to ensure efficient and stable operation of the workshop and service department. This can involve everything from moving tools to assisting with data entry.
Requirements
What we look for
- Technical insight: An understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. Previous experience in repairing small motors, electronics or similar equipment is a big advantage.
- Problem Solving Skills: Very good diagnostic skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable with a varied workload and able to shift between tasks effectively. A positive and salary-oriented attitude is important.
- Initiative and proactivity: Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, as well as identify areas for improvement.
- Communication skills: Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift and move power tools and equipment as needed.
- Basic IT skills are required.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience with Bosch Power Tools or similar brands.
- Valid driver's license (class B), for potential work out in the field.
