Field test technician (m/f/d at SGS in Lahr/Black Forest, BW, Germany.

Role Summary

• Supervision and planning of field trials in arable, vegetable and fruit production under GLP and GEP
• Testing new crop protection products, seed varieties or fertilizers under relevant geographical and climatic conditions
• Statistical evaluation and reporting of field tests
• Selection and coordination with farmers on whose land the trials will take place
• Controlled treatment measures as well as assessment for pathogens, pests and weeds

Requirements

• Completed technical training or studies in agricultural sciences, horticulture, plant technology or a comparable field
• Enjoyment of statistical evaluations
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Driving license for cars (with trailers) and proof of expertise in pesticides
