Technicien Méthodes Industrialisation

Role Summary

Under the responsibility of the Industrialization Methods Manager, you act as the interface between the design department and manufacturing, with the development of machining ranges, the definition of layouts and technical assistance for manufacturing.

On a daily basis, you carry out the following missions:

• Ensure the interface between the BE and manufacturing
• Develop machining and assembly ranges (creation and update of Methods nomenclatures in the ERP), and definition of times allocated for manufacturing
• Develop machining sketches
• Study and produce tooling plans and layouts (plans and quotes), in compliance with safety and ergonomics rules; establish manufacturing and subcontracting files
• Cost investments with profitability calculation
• Carry out workstation studies for process optimization (productivity, working conditions, safety, etc.)
• Technical assistance for manufacturing (including start-ups), including monitoring and technical assistance for the first parts, validation of tools, updating of technical documents (BE and Methods)
• Monitor manufacturing times, participate in the analysis of times spent in collaboration with manufacturing, propose optimization solutions
• Carry out technological monitoring
• Participate in GAP (Autonomous Production Group) meetings for the industrialization methods part

Requirements

• With higher education (Bac + 2 to 5) with specialization in the production of boiler works, industrialization and mechanical design, or equivalent, you have 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in industry.
• You have good knowledge of industrial processes, boilermaking techniques and welding processes on black steel and stainless steel. You are familiar with ERPs such as BAAN and SAP, as well as CAD/CAD software such as ProEngineer.
• Organized and autonomous, you have a sense of the field and a taste for operational matters. You have easy contact with the different teams.
